Design, implementation and testing of microcomputers using microprocessors and digital integrated circuits, both hardware design and software design are emphasized. The class is divided into groups, each group designs, implements, and tests a complete microcomputer system including interfaces to peripheral devices, written project report and an oral presentation are required.
