Installing vinyl in the bathroom we've already removed the toilet and the vanities. We have a nice wide open area. Our sub floor is a little uneven, so we're going to put down a little one. Luan is a quarter-inch, thick piece of plywood that covers the floor, make it nice and smooth alright first thing: we're going to do, though, and sweep up and get a nice clean surface. What we did was we laid our vinyl out in the bathroom, and I found a 25 was I went by the outside wall.
Some people would be the straightest wall and I measure the squares to make sure that it's straight on this wall, it's going to run off a little bit here on the shower, but not much. This will be straight on this wall and this wall. So I think that's about the best we're going to be able to do them. What if I do something around all right, so we did it all cut in and then we'll be back for this Ahlul. Okay, we cut out the bottle for the bathroom, and now I laid it on top of my loan.
What I'm going to do is I'm going to trace it all right, we're gonna trace the whole thing and then what we'll do is we'll cut it out. Okay, we trace the vinyl onto the luan so now, when it cut it out, I'm just going to use a regular carpet knife or utility knife cut through on. If you want in you have a lot of cuts, you could use a jigsaw or even a circular saw since we don't have too many cuts. I'm just going to use my knife. Okay, we got our luan all laid in where it goes.
We got seams buttered uptight and we're going to use. Is we have a luan stapler? These are the staples that we use. They're quarter inch crown one-inch leg, staples and we'll put these into the one we staple down our luan. What we want to do is we want to put a staple at least every six inches across the board and on the scenes we wanted every two inches we'll get a staple or the one down just like that. Okay, so I picked up a little gray patch.
I'm going to use just to go to the scene. I ought to get all the scenes. I'm gonna. Let them drive. Okay, we've got our blue one down, we've got it all patched cut the vinyl laid out and now we're going to glue the vinyl down. We're using a fiberglass sheet Roberts, fiberglass sheet and luxury vinyl tile adhesive, this particular type of vinyl. You don't have to glue down.
